ARTAUD CORPUS FRAGMENTS

Artaud_Corpus_EnTete.jpg

In this performance, Artaud's world is being explored in many different ways and is the main thread of an experimentation which borrows elements to a concert and a play situation but which also can be seen as a both realistic and suggestive live commentary on the poet. Therefore, Artaud's writings re-examined by Sébastien LESPINASSE and accompanied by Pierre JODLOWSKI will swing and meet with "Fragments pour Artaud" from Pierre Henry and the famous radio workshop : "Pour en finir avec le jugement de Dieu", recorded by Antonin Artaud in 1948, both spatialized by Jacky Merit. In this emotional struggle that affects voice structure, the living sound matter becomes the prey of poetry and music expressing thought and life turmoil. It is precisely because Artaud does not care to write poetry that every word gives a sign and stirs the primitive depths of life.
